Born in 1995, Go.edustar, initially known as PRO/STAR, is the brainchild of former educators and administrators hailing from Wichita, Kansas. It emerged as one of the pioneering student information systems flaunting a graphical user interface.
In a landmark moment in 2004, Go.edu acquired the software, marking PRO/STAR’s grand transformation into a web-based system that was rechristened as Go.edustar. The software, after undergoing rigorous beta testing in four school districts in 2006, was warmly welcomed by all clients who made the transition from PRO/STAR to Go.edustar between 2007 and 2008.
The year 2008 marked another milestone as Go.edustar found a new home with Harris, taking on a fresh brand identity as goedustar.
